My co-presenters and I are all from the disability community and most are professional fundraisers. We want to have an open conversation about our experiences from both perspectives and show how you can and should be effective without ableism
As the Impact Profession, fundraisers have the potential to be impactful allies and to build communities of solidarity in anti-racism. Fundraisers and faculty will share strategies and approaches on how they worked in solidarity with diverse constituencies to lead, support and be allies in the development of anti-racism initiatives.

A trio of Jewish, Muslim and Christian fundraisers explain what you need to know about religious donors. Bring your questions, there are no dumb ones! A safe space to talk about faith and money is a gift we offer to the fundraising community.

We start with a fun quiz to get to know the group. Ann might bring kosher snacks. Three very different speakers, all comfortable talking about faith to people from beyond their own communities. 20 minutes for questions because people have LOTS of questions.
Eligible for 1.25 ACFRE credits in Ethics The original purpose of the philosophy of philanthropy has been disrupted by the search for revenue. This session will examine the fundamental purposes of every nonprofit organization, "Why does it exist?" It also will reassess whom does it serve, ho well does it perform, and what more could be offered.
